We had the pleasure of working with Christine to rent a storage unit. We read a lot of reviews ahead of time and went in with quite a few questions, but Christine was polite and answered everything. She walked us around the property, saying hi to customers as we passed. The property itself was clean, well kept and felt secure. One of the AC units was out and Christine knew about it and was having it fixed. By the time we went back later that week it was fixed. We haven’t been there long, but we know Christine will take good care of our belongings.

Christine, the branch manager of Cube Smart Self Storage 7939 Westheimer Road went above and beyond to help me out. I called her at 5:55 pm, 5 minutes before the store closing time, and told her that I was on my way and needed to open an account and store my boxes because I have an early fly the next day. Christine stayed in the office till 6:34 pm to wait for me. She took me through the entire leasing process. She was amazingly helpful and professional. She deserves a raise and promotion.

Prices go up every 6 months because of INFLATION. They're quick to charge you without a notice but fail to fix the elatavor after a flooding incident, which once again they failed to notify their customers. I went in to pick up things in my storage unit only to see water marks on my belongings. They have the temperature at 80, although they claim to have AC. It's not worth the price, especially when it's only going up. The staff are nice and understanding of the issues. Of course not much they can do very unfortunate

I just rented a unit from Cubesmart. I was blown away by the exceptional customer service given by Christine. Just minutes after booking, she called and asked if I needed help and suggested the erental. Being in a rush to move, I did it and everything went so smoothly. No need to check in. Gate codes, directions, unit information and temporary lock code was given in the email. The unit was super clean and they left me a nice little welcome package in the unit with a new lock and more information about the property. No standing in long lines, no hassles, no waiting. I called to get a price of a unit and there was a lag in the line or something. I told her I was new to getting a storage unit and she snapped at me “well you can stop interrupting me for one” then I asked her what he name is and she hung up. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. No one deserves to be treated like that. I didn’t interrupt her at all. That was the worst 1st impression and if that’s how they do business and treat new customers then I want no part of it.

AVOID THIS PLACE! The customer service here is horrible, the management is horrible, they make many mistakes, in less than a year I have personally had to go to sign a new contract 3 times due to administrative errors, and approximately every 3 months the price changes without reason and Explanation! If you are looking for storage in the area, I do not recommend this place, there are others in the area at a better price and without so many complications!!!

To be fair this is not in reference to storing stuff it's actually in reference to me being a storage auction buyer. They do storage online. I bought a storage online and I got there and they told me that the buyer had paid for it already before the auction even ended. The problem is they're supposed to call the auction company and notify them and they didn't. There for half of my day is gone just because they didn't take the time to notify us.

I have to thank Alexis at this location because she completely changed the trajectory of our entire moving experience. Before entering CubeSmart, we went to two other reputable storage companies. The first place was so unprofessional in their demeanor we had to leave. The second place ignored us as we walked in the door, and refused to honor the reservation we secured online and were extremely rude in their behavior. I was so disappointed in how my husband and I were treated I told my husband I was going to wait in the car when we approached the entrance of CubeSmart. He came back with a pep in his step and said come on in. I was so impressed with Alexis, her professionalism, her welcoming and caring demeanor it brought me to tears she touched our hearts so. She made this part of our move so easy and delightful after coming thru multiple challenges. She was a huge breath of fresh air and shifted our entire mindset the rest of the day! So grateful! This is a person representing your company you never want to lose. Alexis is deeply appreciated for being a great human being. As far as the unit/facility, the unit was easily accessible, the facility is clean, well maintained and secure. This type of service is supposed to make your life easier...and Alexis at CubeSmart definitely meets that goal!

This is my post move out review. All I can say is keep up the great management. Seriously they have the best team here. Alexa has helped me out more times than I can count and the staff genuinely wants to help you however they can. Very rare these days. A few more bonuses: parking availability is great no matter what time of the day. Move out process was a breeze (took less than ten minutes.) Access hours are very accommodating and price is competitive for Westheimer area.

I love Cubesmart but the real reason I chose this location is because Kristina called me after the store had closed to discuss my online reservation. She was very helpful in planning out a time to come see the unit. She really worked with my busy schedule and that was very very helpful. At least $5,000 worth of my husband’s music equipment was stolen from our storage unit here. The lock was cut and management would neither give, nor show us, the video footage. We were neither refunded for our stolen belongings nor helped in anyway with the investigation. DO NOT TRUST THIS PARTICULAR STORAGE PLACE. You will regret it if you do. In reply to your comment: You already “looked into the situation” and refused to show the video to the police officer to make a report. You also FORCED us to get insurance and REFUSED to give us any compensation for the theft even with the insurance bc you claimed we didn’t have proof the lock was cut by us. Both the facility and the staff here deserve the highest recommendation. This CubeSmart in particular, is safe, secure, clean, convenient, well maintained and actually pleasant to be in. Have you ever dreaded going to "storage" because it was crowded, dark, industrial feeling and rundown? By contrast, this CubeSmart is immaculately clean, well air-conditioned, music playing in the wide, spacious, well lit halls. Its actually a pleasant experience to go here! The front office is also immaculate and professional. No desks covered with paper stacks and personal belongings. And the staff is cheerful, attentive, responsive and works hard to meet the customer's needs. Kristie LaRue and her assistant are a huge asset to this facility and are responsible for the fine reputation it enjoys!

The service of this store is SPECTACULAR! Kristi and her associates went above and beyond for me and my family. There knowledge of the storage industry was impressive, but when you want in the doors you will immediately see how much they care. The building, hallways, parking lot and bathrooms are spic-n-span! Kristana did a fabulous job! She was courteous and took the extra time to make sure I understood how to enter, lock, and leave the facility. She answered all of my questions and she was very polite! I am fairly new to Houston and she also gave me some tips about moving around in the city! I am very pleased with the customer service, the facility is extremely clean, the move in process was quick and easy, I appreciated being able to use the facility truck to move, and the cube is convenient!

I have had a wonderful experience with the management and staff at this location. I recently moved in on August 5, 2017. Everything went smoothly from the truck rental to accessing the storage unit multiple times over the course of three days. The facility is immaculate and well run. I appreciate the assistance and the flexibility of everyone. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great storage space with great staff for your next move and transition. They just make things easy during what can be a very stressful time.

While researching for the best location for a storage space near my residence, I came to Cube Smart because of the very personable reviews. Mr. Tony was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about everything pertaining to storage sizes and what Cube Smart offers, including security. I decided to explore other storage options in the area before making my final decision. I went to several storage facilities but quickly learned there was no comparison to the cleanliness, security as well as the exceptional customer service skills Mr. Tony provided. One of the other locations had the ceiling falling in and when I mentioned the bugs, I was told not to worry about it because that particular bug is a good bug. I knew I would feel apprehensive about storing my belongings as well as if I would have an insect/bug issue. I returned to Cube Smart a few days later. Mr. Tony not only assisted me with finding the perfect size storage, he went above and beyond to help me locate professional movers with reasonable prices. Thank you, Mr. Tony for your dedication to your work, people/professional customer service skills and to making what could have been a disastrous move one of the best!!!!!

Worst experience I ever had at a business. There is no signs anywhere saying the storage closes at 10:00 P.M. and that you will be locked out. We were in the middle of carrying things to the unit when all the doors closed and half our things were on the hall of the storage unit and were locked out outside the building. The manager came out and we explained the situation to the manager and he said to come back in the morning and shut the door. If management shows no concern of things being left in the open you can only imagine what the rest of the staff does. To make it even worst the exit gate does not work after 10 pm and we had to wait 30 mins until customer service was finally able to let us out the gates.
