Amazing place! The storage units are very clean, as well as the entire property. The prices are great, too. However, that's not what made my decision. All the credit goes to the employee Alix, who was working and helping me. I cannot say enough about her. From the moment I walked in, she had the most positive energy I've ever seen or felt from any employee, ever. She was well spoken, very helpful, polite, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. 3.22.24 @ 10:38am - MGMT don't try and play the good guy now by asking how you can assist. Refund my rent or don't - this review is staying up. Incompetent people should not be in charge of that facility - y'all repeatedly harassed me for doing nothing outside of your guidelines, and then told me I needed to be out by 3.32.24, then it got moved up to ASAP, so I moved all my stuff out in 4 trips yesterday. Lori needs the find another type of work - she is sweet, but she is terrified of doing things without having to consult with Bobbor whoever is in "charge". PSA: Do not do business with Cube Smart, especially the Everhart location - they are unethical & not so bright - there are tons of other storage places in Corpus - save yourself the hassle & look elsewhere. They can keep the $13 they were going to refund me for the 9 days left. Update as of 10.12am 3.21.24 I have been asked to vacate immediately - the mgr(Lori) on site states it's not retaliation (her words verbatim) - but that I cannot slam Cube Smart and expect to stay til the end of the month. I also mentioned that someone left the entrance gate open for hours last nite - so much for security. She is no longer able to speak with me b/c I made threats(which really is this review, i.e my opinion). °°°Cube Smart on Everhart/Staples Location ***Side Note*** there is a guy(Allister/Allistor) he'll address you as, "Hey, my guy" ?????? who "works" on Mondays there at that location - something tells me he has 1st hand info on those break ins - hoping Bob Perez and his ppl look into it I moved in on 2.1.24 #2090 - I received an eviction notice this afternoon stating there were complaints of me being at the unit all the time - mind you, no one has ever said anything until this notice. Last week there were 2 break ins in the building NEXT to the office(there was no notice sent out to tenants). Anyway, I asked the manager for the info of the GM or someone higher up - she tells me she cannot give out that info and to pls call customer service - I honestly think she didn't know what to tell me so that was an easy, "not my problem" line I call and they informed me that she could have provided me with this info ??. I called and spoke with Tatiana(super helpful & super sweet). The GM's name is Bob Perez - so I called and left a VM. We'll see what good ol Bob has to say. I'll update this review after speaking with him or her, Lori said it was a woman who has cameras at her home and watches everything ??????

I moved to Corpus on February 1st but I didn't get here till almost 5:00 and Lori was very accommodating. I actually rented a 5x5 but then I realized that it wasn't going to work out. So the very next day we upgraded to a climate controlled almost twice the size and I couldn't be any happier. Lori was extremely accommodating and professional in every aspect of her job. I would highly recommend this location. It is safe, clean & cameras work - I highly recommend CubeSmart on Everhart.

Okay so I have good news and bad news about this facility but I will definitely say the manager that is on site is the best thing that happened for this company I recently moved from California to Texas and as I was driving across country I reserved my storage unit when I arrived on my destination the office was closed cuz I arrived after hours my code did not work on the gate so I reached out to corporate customer service due to the office being closed customer service at first told me I did not have a storage unit and I had no contract I then had to prove to them not only did I sign the contract but all the paperwork was filled out all the locks and codes everything was given to me and they took the money out of my bank account so they transferred me to a second person who I had to explain all of this to again once they finally found me in the computer because they kept trying to use my name. phone number and email instead of actually taking the reservation number which I kept trying to give to them but they didn't want it They then told me that they would have to call the manager they couldn't get hold of the manager they called the emergency on call person couldn't get hold of them they then called the district manager couldn't get hold of them then the caller decided to give me an emergency code that they had on file that did not work at this point they then told me that I had to get a larger unit at a different property across town in order for them to help me the best I can do is refund my money. Oh I forgot to mention this is Friday night at 6:00 p.m. and my truck is full of $3,000 worth of tools which I already had to chase people off when I slept on the side of the road driving over here so I was already scared to have it out I got my refund and left the property after about 45 minutes of dealing with them on the phone maybe 45 minutes after that the office manager did call me and asked if I was able to get in I stated no I let them know that basically corporate horribly failed me I can clearly tell that the manager wasn't happy and seemed a little annoyed that things didn't run smoothly which I understand So the next morning I went to the property because I received a text stating that I missed my move in etc etc so I went over there to make sure my refund went through After speaking to the manager she offered to make things right and had genuine concerns it just seemed like a genuine individual she was very nice and considerate and completely understood why I was so frustrated and due to that I decided to go ahead and rent a unit from there anyways but if there is an issue I wouldn't call corporate I would just deal with the staff on site this is one of the best property managers that I've met I'm a contractor who works for property management companies and I do rehabs for apartments and motels and deal with property managers on a daily basis and this is one who genuinely seems concerned for the customers and the property she is the only reason that I decided to keep my business there because right across the street from my motel room is another storage place that charges exactly the same for what they have to offer but I still chose to drive down the freeway to go back to them because of her So if you're going to only deal with corporate expect a two-star experience but you will get a four-star experience if you deal with the on-site staff

The storage company is a great place to store your stuff very clean and the people are great. I would recommend the store to anybody not only are the people friendly they also have climate control units where it will keep your furniture and stuff nice and protected they have 24 surveillance cameras to keep your valuables safe.!

Over 10 storage units were broken into using a simple pry bar. Still made me pay for the month and replaced the latch with the same weak aluminum one that was defeated in the first place. Then conveniently whoever broke into the units in the first place got away without a trace. Lack of cameras, lack of security and lack of effort from the staff.

This company filed a police report on 04-16-22 stating that I had broken into an adjacent property. He told the police I know it’s mr wilson from the long scar on his face. (Please see attached photos) then he told them I rent a unit that I don’t rent. I rented the unit online I had never been in the office prior to may 1st I reported my code needed to be changed because someone had gotten it yet they wouldn’t return my phone calls I had to go in person to change it….may 1st these people have no clue the problems they have caused me I challenge them to meet with me and look at the video again i weight 265lbs the man they describe in the report is 210 with a scar on his face thank you very much storage coMpany this will be the very last month I do business with you what’s the use of all those cameras if you don’t use them

My experiences here have been excellent. Staff is always friendly and willing to help with little things. There is a restroom on site for customers to use which comes in handy when messing with storage units. And love that only customers have access pass the gates. Kudos to all..

The staff at Storage Company at Everhart quickly responded to my call for help, and provided a storage unit the same day! It was clean, climate-controlled, and secure.
