Ms.April is such a big asset to thus company. She was so pleasant, took her time. Told myself and my mom how to use the access codes and also showed us how to do the locks in the storage unit. Avoid this place if you're buying abandoned storage units. The guy ahead of me paid for his unit and when he went back with an employee, the entire unit was empty. I paid for my unit and when I went to look, a pair of Nike sneakers and an Eagles sweatshirt that were featured prominently in the listing I bid on were suddenly missing. Auction units use locks that only staff have keys to, so someone on staff is taking the items. Neighborhood is super shady as well. Won't be bidding on any units at this location again.

??Unfortunately, as of June 9, 2024, this Norristown Cubesmart facility has an active mouse infestation that they're not able to control. (see photos) In light of this ongoing situation, it's not safe to store your things in this Cubesmart facility. Here's what happened: 1 On June 9, when I came to move my things out of my storage unit, I found mouse droppings on my couch, TV stand, wall unit, and all along the floor where my other furniture had been stored. (see photos) 2 I was not happy about this. :-( 3 When I told April, the current facility manager, she said she would do an incident report and call me back. :-) 4 April is quite busy and didn't get a chance to call me back. So I followed up with her about a week later. Here is the conversation we had: APRIL: "Hello." ME: "Hi! I'm just following up about the incident report regarding the mouse droppings in my storage unit." APRIL: "Yeah...nothing happened." ME: "Nothing happened...?" APRIL: "Nothing happened. I did the incident report and nothing happened, because it was under wear and tear." And then, April ended the call. 5 FYI: “under wear and tear” means that finding mouse droppings on your things falls under “normal wear and tear.” In other words, Cubesmart considers mouse droppings “normal.” (Let that sink in.) ?? 6 Also...I kind of got the impression that April wasn’t particularly concerned about what happened to my furniture or interested in helping me find a resolution. 7 *But I totally get it. April is super busy managing a storage facility. She doesn’t have time to deal with customer problems. I just thought that, since she’s the manager she might be willing to help me. (?) But I guess her hands were tied. ????, ??????????????, ????????’?? ???????? ??’???? ?????????????? ?????????? ??????????????????: 1 ?? The Norristown Cubesmart facility has a mouse infestation. ??If what's happening there can be seen as representative of Cubesmart as a whole, it's probably safest to steer clear of Cubesmart altogether. 2 ?? If you're really desperate, only consider Cubesmart as a last resort...and only store items that you don't plan to keep. That way, when something happens to them, it won't be a huge loss to you as the customer. (April won’t be able to help you because it's not her problem.) ?? 3 ?? ALSO NOTE: The storage insurance you pay for through Cubesmart is Great American Insurance Group (GAIG) - and they do not cover mouse or rodent infestation. (When I contacted GAIG about filing a claim for my damaged furniture, I received this email from Andy Virzi, Senior Claim Representative at GAIG: "Unfortunately, rodent damage is not a covered cause of loss in the policy. Due to that policy language, we are not able to extend coverage for your claim.") ?? 4 But, honestly, the mouse droppings issue isn't Cubesmart's fault. That's just the risk you take as a customer when you pay to store your things at Cubesmart. Cubesmart provides the space, but they don't protect your stuff from things like mice ?? or other rodents. 5 Providing a clean, secure storage facility is not Cubesmart's job. So it's not reasonable to expect this of them. Just ask April - she'll tell you. 6 In fact, I could tell that April is overworked and stretched thin. Each time I spoke with her, it sounded like she didn’t want to be on the phone and didn’t really like her job. (*Totally understandable given that she manages a mouse-infested facility - that's rough!) And anyway, April is just one person. She doesn't have the bandwidth to help customers with issues like unexpectedly finding mouse droppings on your furniture the day you move out. So I understand why she treated me the way she did. 7 But I do think April could have been a *tiny* bit nicer to me given that about $2000 worth of furniture was ruined in her facility. ?? But, again, she’s just the Cubesmart manager. It’s not her job to be nice to customers. Or help them with problems. ?? Anyway, I hope this info is helpful to you. ?? Watch out for those mice!

I will say I’m a return customer I’ve had storage with them several times over the past 12 years! The staff is always very nice and helpful however there is a high turnover rate with the staff so often there is only 1 person manning the office which can be frustrating especially since more recently to use a cart you have to turn over your id to get a cart so if the person who is manning the office has to show a storage unit, use the bathroom, or take a break the customer waiting to return the cart has to wait until the staff member returns which sometimes could be longer than 10 minutes! A suggestion for this is to put the magnetic locks on the carts like the super markets do so that they can’t leave the parking lot! Another suggestion would be to have more than one person in the office at a time! Overall I keep coming back because of the prices and the fact that they offer a free move in truck and even with the frequent change of staff the staff are always kind!

MICE AND RODENT INFESTED. WILL DAMAGE YOUR THINGS. *UPDATE BELOW Infested with mice. And those mice will pee and poop all over your belongings and guess what? Cube smart considers it "normal wear and tear" and won't let yu claim it as a loss for your insurance. And they 'up' the prices every few months but nothing changes, just greed. Yu don't pay on the due date they lock your unit and if you want to downsize you have ONE DAY to do so. If you need storage I would NOT rent from here unless you want damaged things. All those increases and no money is out towards pest control? Disgusting. RENT STORAGE ELSEWHERE *UPDATE Not only did they try and low ball me for my valuable bed set that was ruined from their rat infestation but I was played with in every attempt to "Make things right" I am utterly disappointed and disgusted. Will soon post pictures of the display of mouse droppings and also their "Solution" to said issue.

Lemme first say that I really like this place. The person who initially helped me this summer was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She walked me through every step and was accommodating when other places were not. The rates recently went up but it's still cheap for me. I also like the 24/7 access, the clean unit and the smell of the wooden floors. With that said, something ate through my bag of oatmeal lol I've never seen any bugs or rodents and I still love renting here but still, here is your official warning not to leave bagged food in your units.

I love cube Smart ! I was welcomed by a man named "Mar" who wanted to make sure he met all my needs and explained all the sizes and costs of the storage units to me. After I decided on a size of unit that would meet my needs he walked me back to take a look at the unit to double check that this would work. The prices are lower than some of the places I looked at and the facility was very clean. I felt comfortable leaving my belongings there and will use Cube Smart in the future !! Never ever again. I am not one to usually write reviews, but this was how disrespected I felt by Will at cubesmart. It was honestly disgusting to learn how they run their business. I drove 3 hours to get to the storage unit, only to not be let in to my originally paid for unit. I was on the phone with customer service for 2 plus hours and had to pay for an additional unit. If customer service means anything to you, this is not your place. Would’ve given a 0 if I could.

I called about storage. Machesse answered the phone and didn’t have a positive attitude and unable to help. I went to the office to speak to someone in person and machesse was in the office on his phone distracted and did not notice I was there until I addressed him. I then asked to see a unit and he seemed uninterested in showing what was available and directed me to what was displayed in the office. This is not what I would consider quality service.

Recently opened a storage, whole experience was nice. They offer truck rental for your moving service to the storage area. From checking the unit, to signing up the lease, it's month to month. Paperwork was fast and easy. Setting up recurring payments was easy too. You can use your home, apparment condo insurance as your storage area insurance this was you can save few ten's of dollars per month, check with your renter's insurance company before you go.

Be careful. The date you reserve, if you try to pay ahead of time (to lock down the reservation) their website will populate a lease not with the date you reserved, but in the date you are paying. In my case, I reserved August 15 but when I went online to pay, the lease that populated had a date in the far upper right hand corner of August 1. Still waiting to hear if this will be straightened out.

Very sad how this location is handling a fire on the 3rd so unprofessional floor many people suffering from lost of water damage my best advice is have your own insurance this company only pays $2,000 in your loss if you plan to insure your things within the company insurance. Thankfully I have Farmer's and my things are not damaged .

Moved my belongings out to only discover that many of things were ruined by a leaking pipe above my unit. I also found rodent droppings on top of my furniture and boxes. Like another reviewer mentioned, I also found dead roaches in my unit as well. I can assure you that they did not come from my home and I have never had an issue with pests. There are rat traps peppered around the facility but clearly they are not working. I’m not going to bother putting an insurance claim in since rodent damage isn’t covered. The deductible is pretty high as well so in my case, it’s not worth the headache for a few hundred dollars worth of stuff lost. And CubeSmart, please don’t respond to this review requesting me to contact you unless you will actually do something like refund me. To future renters, I don’t recommend storing here unless you will be using heavy duty storage bins that keep out moisture and other things. I also don’t know how real many of the 5 star reviews are since they are written by accounts with no other reviews or account activity, so take their glowing recommendations with a grain of salt.

I had my stuff in storage for exactly a year and just finished moving everything tonight. As we were unloading and putting our things inside my home from 2 plastics bins of mine came out 5 roaches. I am NOT a dirty person and with 3 kids at home I am IRRATE! I played 160 something a month for a year and expected my things to be taken care of but obviously not. So now at 11 at night I'm spending my time putting all my stuff on my front porch until I can get things cleaned and inspected!! I Do Not Reccomend this location!

These guys get 5 stars ?? ????????. I came in right before closing time from another state and the Manager Donte got me squared away in less then 15 minutes with exactly what I needed at the time. The next day I changed my mind about the size of the unit I would have long term and Naquise was right there to help me look for what I was asking for. I was all set with my reservation for what I needed long term at the best possible price available. Gregory helped me close the one account I no longer needed and although he was brand new he did it in no time whatsoever. Now I go and make my on time payments on a monthly basis with no hassle and I am always received with a smile. The units are clean and spacious and this location does have a variety of sizes. Hope this helps you make the right choice and pick these guys.

The 2 guys that are there now are very disrespectful I asked them not to call me certain hours of the day they call anyway they don't know how to speak with people it's a lack of communication and when I ask questions they can't answer I s speak with one of them and the other one calls me I say I spoke to the other guy already he acts like he has no clue of what I'm talking about when I asked for a manager I couldn't speak to anyone so I asked for a higher up number and told them I wanted to complain about the service that they was providing me they looked at each other with a dumb look and told me it wasn't a number then my storage unit price is going up in feFebrua I unaware of the jump so when I asked about it I was told that the company sent out a letter & a email 3 months ago which I never received either one so I asked my sister to see if she had gotten one or if her unit went up she was just as clueless as me but when she checked her unit her price did not go up so I'm so confused to why can someone please give me answer thank you

The service here is exceptional, thanks to Brittany and Sharia. Of course, the facility is clean and secure, but knowing my things are in the capable hands of these two ladies makes the difference. I feel like if Brittany caught someone trying to get into my unit she would use her sucker punch those trolls and sweetly escort them off property. Sharia would already have called the cops, and they both would have saved the day. My heroes!

This location is very affordable and goes above and beyond to be fair and honest. Brittany was fantastic on move in and move out explaining the process and making me feel safe and secure about my belongings. I’d recommend this location for great customer service and an excellent building. They have two loading docks, is climate controlled, and have a good security system.

Best price around for a small space. Of course I didn't know until I got there, I'd have to lift my item up via a ladder to a second level. Workers thought item would not fit, but I measured it. Getting it in space was easier than we all thought.

Long-term customer and all I get in return are rate increases and my stored items ruined by mice urine and feces. They tell me to file an insurance claim, all the while knowing that rodent damage isn't covered. They blame the damage on other customers possibly storing food, yet they accept no responsibility for it. The guy and girl that run the place are great, but seem to be hamstrung on what they can do for you from their corporate bosses. Selfish and greedy company that likes to portray themselves as customer service experts, but severely fail in delivering on that promise. This place is infested and will ruin your belongings. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

After 5 years being Cube Smart customer in NJ, I moved to King of Prussia. So I rented a storage in R 202., This was my biggest mistake. Store manager took me to the truck loading doc and told me you should take your goods from here. so I took 25 boxes without using ramp to the elevator. He did not tell me that there is a ramp in other side of the building. I am moving out. this is not a service that we expect from Cube Smart after being 5 years there costumer. this storage is messed up ( management and building ) NOT RECOMMENDED

I found this location to be very clean and the staff to be very friendly and informative. However, when I was showed the "7.5 ft x 10ft" unit I had reserved and wanted to lease, I expressed that the unit did not appear to actually be 7.5 ft deep. I was assured that it was a 7.5 ft x 10 ft unit and I could measure the dimensions. Since I did not have a tape measurer and already had a truck full of my belongings, I opted to go ahead and load my things into the unit. When I returned the next day with another load of things I brought my tape measurer and found that the unit was actually 6ft x 10ft. I spoke with one of the managers and asked for a reduced rate since the unit is 20% smaller than advertised. They told me they are unable to offer me a reduced rate and that the dimensions of the unit are an approximation. I do not understand how a difference of 1.5 ft (20% size difference for the unit) from the advertised size and the actual size can be an approximation. Especially when all the other dimensions were accurate. I also do not understand how they cannot offer a reduced rate for a unit that is significantly smaller than what is advertised. Make sure you measure the unit you are looking at before signing anything. This is clearly false and misleading advertisement.

I pay online for free at the other place, this place $4.95, over phone $4.95. Not user friendly at all. There are multiple places like this in Norristown. I encourage you to look before coming here.

The General Manager, Kathy (I believe that's her name) is not a very nice person. She is snappy and has a smart attitude and tone. I don't know if Cubesmart is aware of how she is as a manager but they need to look into this.

I won a storage locker at this facility today through an online auction because the owner didn't pay for it. The staff at the facility are nice, at least at first. However, upon opening the storage locker and trying to sort out its content, hundreds of roaches started moving around in the locker and on all the items in the locker. There was also a bunch of mouse droppings and shredded paper in the locker as well. I went up front to the woman at the counter and informed her of the issue. She told me that I could abandon the locker but I would lose what I paid for the locker plus the $100 security deposit they have you pay to make sure you clean it out. I told her that wasn't acceptable and that I wanted the owner's phone number so that I could speak to them and that if this wasn't handled properly that I would take it to the media. She told me "I can't give you the owner's number" so then I asked for the manager's number. She then called the manager and told him about the situation. He had her go back with me to look at the locker where I had to disturb more of the items in the locker to show her the roaches which she got to see. She then called the manager back and she told him I wanted a full refund which he finally decided to give me. These storage facilities are supposed to be routinely treated for rodents and bugs but obviously this one isn't doing what it is supposed to do. If you don't mind mice and roaches in your stored belongings then this is the place for you.
