The units are reasonably priced compared to other storage unit companies. Clean on the inside. But I serially hope they get their elevators repaired in a timely manner. Last time it was out it took almost two months to fix. And for those with large units, it's a real struggle to walk the entire grounds from one end to the other to use an alternate elevator.

Although LIfe Storage has gone through several names and owners, it's a great location and friendly staff that has been great to work with. We had a unit on the backside and access was easy. That being said, sometimes the carts are hard to find at the doors and one or two have wacky wheels.

I have stored at several facilities. Until recently, this facility has been nice. I went in the facility in Winston Salem, NC on Jonestown Rd today and there is trash everywhere, it’s cold inside and it just looks rundown overall. This wasn’t an issue with the previous company, who kept the facility immaculate and until today, hasn’t been an issue here. However, for the continual price increase, I expect more from this facility and hope that these issues can be addressed in a timely fashion.

I was looking for a unit to put my stuff during my move and while I didn't end up renting because of the availability I still had a great experience. Hunter did a very good job at trying to find me the perfect fit and did everything he could to help me. Customer service is definitely a 10/10. Even though I did not rent with them I will definitely be keeping them in mind in the future.

I had storage unit at the facility for five years throughout the different changes of ownership. I drove in from a different state, on September 19th to remove my items from the unit. However, an employee there stated that she wanted the items instead and to not worry about clearing the storage unit. She said I would receive a bill for October but my credit card would not be automatically charged because she would close out my account. However, my credit card was billed for October and I have received a bill for November. I emailed the business, explained what happened and told him that their employee accepted custody of those items and that I took my lock with me. The manager told me that I would need to come back to NC to clear out the storage unit if I did not want to continue to be billed and charged for the unit. So glad to be rid of this place.

WOW!! How things have changed! New managemt and twice in three months made to prove insurance. Apparently, the paper gets lost between the desk and the file cabinet-maybe six feet. No "we are sorry" just produce another copy or pay us for our insurance. Which do you think they want-revemue or another piece of paper. Be careful before move in here. NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE!!!

Initial visit was seamless. After returning the truck, I was charged for using the hand truck and blankets. They were not used and still tied. Staff, who said he was the supervisor upon my request to speak with one, was argumentative, but eventually removed the charge.

Great uhaul location...clean and modern. But any place can be clean and modern. What makes THIS uhaul truly stand out from the rest is the people, or should I say, the person. I’ve been here several times, and at each visit I was served by Siani. If you also visit this location, GO WHEN SIANI IS THERE! Seriously....she is competent, capable, professional and a downright pleasure to work with. I genuinely feel this particular store and uhaul as a brand are greatly improved by this staff member. I just dropped off a U-Haul and trailer today at this location for the second time after making some trips from Florida. I have dealt with Hannah both times and also dealt with Hailey, their newest employee to my knowledge. Both ladies were very friendly and made the process easy and painless. They provided a decent move in rate for a temporary storage as well. I will continue to use this location when needed. Their front office is very clean and presentable too. Very impressed!

Lockbox is the only place I found in town that has moving boxes suitable for holding art. The young man who helped me was extremely nice, giving me information over the phone, and then helping me load the boxes into my car. Their prices for boxes were reasonable, too! I didn't use their storage facility, but I got a quick look, and the area was spotless. I'd go back in a second!
