I liked them, but I started at a good price for the unit at then 3-4 months later they decided to raise the rates by a big amount so I cancelled my unit and am moving out. If they left my price alone I would have stayed but it’s too late.

This is the second time I have used CubeSmart at the Jefferson location. Rates are reasonable and competitive with surrounding storage companies. Staff is very friendly and helpful, site seems safe and secure and had ample lighting where my storage bay was located. Will use again for my storage needs.

Easy, affordable and honest....everything you need to do business. I recently had the worst experience with uhaul and storage. So I was already at zero tolerance when I was still looking for storage and I will say I approached CubeSmart with a chip on my shoulder. Well I reserved space online and the proper discounts were already applied, the charges were explained on the final invoice, I paid, I had to change move in date which was no problem, I got a qelxo n e text and call, showed up put my code in showed id and the lock was waiting inside the unit .... and done. I can't tell you how much I appreciated. The simple easy process start to finish. And they just acted like hmmm. Idk this is how we do business everyday. That impressed me even more. The manager April was such a big and I mean big help. She was extremely pleasant and patient not to mention professional. I booked my storage unit online and it offered a discount rate but when I went to check in it was higher amount. She was sure to explain the misunderstanding and was extremely thorough with helping me get an ever lower rate than offered online. The units are kept cleaner than I’ve ever seen for a storage facility. Nice and spacious for the prices offered. I’m new in town so this was a big plus being able to do that so smoothly even with the hiccup. If you want your belongings safe and not have to worry about them and a pleasant experience I HIGHLY recommend this cube smart. Thanks April for EVERYTHING??????

Since relocating back to ABQ, and having my possessions in storage at CubeSmart (and actually longer than I anticipated). Ha! I remember April’s arrival at this locale, from having to dart in and out, here and there to retrieve items etc.. I noticed an immediate difference in the professionalism, which she exhibits, on behalf of the company. Yet, she is wonderfully personable, with excellent communication and customer service skills, which I find to be an important element for me to do business with a company. The appearance of the property definitely appears to be even better. . I give it 4 stars, only because the storage units been around for awhile.. Encountered gate issues a few times. Well I've been paying storage fees for over a year. They raised my rent .No notice. The manager or whoever lives on property has always been rude to me telling me I can't camp out. Told her that I waz downsizing and she called me a liar. Said I could only drop off stuff or pick up stuff. Her supervisor was even more rude. I mean who goes to a storage just to hang out. NO ONE.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This location was accommodating, considerate, and helpful! I had a major issue with the moving company I was working with and before I was even a paying customer, they jumped at the chance to help me with my problem and went out of their way to help figure out possible solutions. I was not in the area because I was on military orders on the East coast so April, an employee at this location, was on the phone multiple times helping me to resolve the bad situation I was in. Again, they made sure all my questions were answered and assured me that my stuff would be taken care of properly when the movers dumped everything there. Great service and kind people!

Without going into tedious detail, an employee at the Jefferson location is responsible for damages to my car. I was given the number of the district manager by this employee and was told to call her about it. Alongside damaging my car, this employee also neglected to tell me that the unit I would be storing my car in would be $350 more expensive for the alotted time. I have been calling the district manager once every day that she is scheduled to work, during her alotted office hours and she still has yet to pick up the phone. I have also left two voicemails and she still hasn't gotten in touch with me. She is ignoring me intentionally at this point. Do not use CubeSmart, they will drain you of your money and will not take responsibility for any damaged or lost property. PLEASE use a different storage company.

Someone raised my payment $30+ dollars. They blamed it on the pandemic. I saw a deal for one of their storages twice as big as mine for the same price I'm paying now. Seriously looking into a different storage company who will work with me and that's affordable and consistent with their monthly rates because I'm paying way too much for a small storage when I could be paying the same for one twice the size. Very disappointed.

I am making a review for the cubesmart 4800 jefferson Albuquerque nm. When I first looked them up, did everything online Candace West gave an immediate call back, held the unit even though I was undecided of moving to there, was the 1st welcoming face after a long tiring, confusing unpleasant trip. Over a few weeks me always changing my mind, Candace worked with my back and forth unit changing & tended to make my confusion seem easy & normal despite hard times. Later I met a co- worker Nigel who was funny pleasant embraced me like a family member. I rate a 5 on customer service I love this CubeSmart.

Adeauate storage area with a one way in and out set up. The rates are alright but the security seems lax. There are cameras around the perimeter for the most part but not that many with in the compound that could help provide better info in case of a break in. The units are too bad looking in terms of space but they might need some new paint, if anything.

First off, the staff is wonderful! Nigel and Candace have been amazing but clearly appear to be extremely stressed due to multiple break-ins. There is no on-site security and these unfortunate events seem to happen on a nightly basis. This does not make for a safe and secure location and puts lots of pressure on the staff due to irate renters because of reoccurring break-ins. Seems that there is no concern from upper management to secure the location for renters nor staff since little to no action has taken place to add security in any form. I would not rent or recommend this storage location because of these issues which is sad because the staff is great!

Nigil and Candace provide incredible customer service! The first time into their office, I accidentally left my Galaxy Buds ($130) and Nigil called me to tell me that I forgot them. I had no idea. Talk about integrity! For a great location, price, and customer service, shop here!

After reserving a unit online I received a phone call right away to confirm the details and help me understand the access process. When I arrived to access my unit and move my belongings in the process was simple and quick. The manager at my Jefferson St. location, NIGEL, has been incredibly helpful every step of the way and I really appreciate it!

The General Manager, Candace West, went above and beyond to answer our questions, review our options, show us specific units so we could make decisions to fit our needs, etc. She was very patient when I was being indecisive. I have never written a review before but my experience with Blake at CubeSmart was second to none. Blake's understanding of the storage business and what customer service is all about helped me in making a decision as to where to store some very important belongings. I had shopped around and even went to other cubesmart locations but Blake put my heart to rest and gave me a good deal. Didn't require me to buy a lock (even though she offered it). It is sad that employees like Blake are sometimes overlooked in this corporate world. If I was still in business I would steal her away from CubeSmart where her talents could be maximized. I appreciated here insight in the sizing I needed, the cost structure of her company and others and she was dead-on in terms of what i have experienced in the world of self storage. I was still shopping until I found Blake, er, CubeSmart, that is. And lastly her understanding of the world and how it relates to the safety of the items I store. I am glad to have had the privilege to work with Blake in the seemingly simple task of storage-that really isn't that simple. I feel comfortable where my stuff is stored and the rate is one of the best in Albuquerque!

Blake was awesome to work with when we were looking for a storage space. She showed us the one we had reserved but it was much too small. She then helped us find a bigger unit and checked prices at the other locations so that we could make an informed decision. I really appreciate my new landlord Nigel at this location. He went above and beyond to make sure I was not only taken care of promptly by returning my call, he cared enough to make sure that my expectations and needs matched what the facility had to offer. An awesome negotiator while he made sure that it would be a good fit for all parties involved. Nigel was wonderful to work with and in my opinion he is an asset to the Cube Store and this location. A pleasure to work with Nigel was very personable and easy to talk with, as well as knowledgeable; answering all my questions with no uncomfortable presure to rent with the store either way. Wish there were more Nigel's in the consumers world because it would be a more pleasant world over all. My hats off to Nigel and full recognition of this fine person and stupendous employee!

I checked out 6 different storage facilities in the area. I made my decision base on the staff and they did find the storage unit that meant my needs. My storage items were fine after three months and the checkout process was easy and simple. It was a great place to have things stored until I found another place to live and the billing was simple to make the payments over the phone. I would recommend. ??

Although you only see these people maybe 4 times a year, it needs to be a reassuring, friendly experience. Well SIX stars out of five for this place!! Cordial on the phone, accommodating and friendly in person; and I watched how they treated several other people coming into the facility to pay. Very nice, and glory be! efficient at the same time! The facility itself is centrally-located, clean and that 24-hour access is a huge bonus. You never know when you might need to go grab your kid's 3rd grade notebook out of storage at 4 a.m. And economical. Did I mention economical? All good!

These people are cool. Clean storage units and easy access and great location. Reasonable rates and they even gave me new locks (although I'm not sure if they do that for everyone but it saved me from going and getting more locks so it was appreciated).

great customer service, great friendly people. the transition we did from a bigger storage to a smaller one was really easy and they right away had a smaller one that fit our needs after getting somethings out the one we had with them. great prices and highly recommend to store your things here.
