Moved from extra space storage which was charging me half and they screwed with my payments which was supposed to be 60 inflated to 320 and it was their mistake to get they even cut my lock off and there was stuff missing!! Cube smart is easy to work with they do what they say and don't steal your stuff. So wish I had gone with cube smart to beging with

So far so good. Easy sign up and this woman who helped me has such a lovely personality! Update : Due to short staff and lack of communication within the office, we were able to settle a minor issue with better understanding. It is worth using the storage, even just for one week, so we can have peaceful vacation without taking our bikes to hotels every night.

Last minute we needed to rent a storage space nearby. When we spoke to the manager, Leslie, in the office she was very helpful in answering all of our questions thoroughly and found an available unit which fit our needs. It wasn't ready but she assured us she would have it ready within 2 hours. When we returned it was cleaned and ready as promised. Horrible treatment from staff. I visited this location to close my account and pay for my last month due to me buying a house and no longer needing this unit. The manager or whoever she was on charged screamed at me and started insulting me while I was waiting for her to open the door questioning me whether I was the owner of the unit, even though she verify my ID, phone #, email, address and took my payment. I called the main number and requested to speak to her supervisor and I was promised someone would call me in two days. It's been almost a week and no one bothered to follow up.

I've had this storage unit for many years (7) and the last 2 years you have raised the rent over 20% a year (multiples of inflations rate). This is way too expensive, especially since you did not secure this area right and I had someone break into my unit a few years ago and lost a lot of valuable possessions. Your insurance is a joke and no way near compensated me. There are many other storage units at half your rates.

Victoria the on site manager was always helpful and accomodating. She anticipated my needs when she noticed my unit filling up and helped me aquire a larger unit that was only ten feet away from my old unit which was a blessing for sure because im lazy lol... She is definitely an asset to have at that location as ive been to other locations and dealt with less than pleasant managers and she made the experience worth the money even dealing with me being there sometimes 5 times a day because i keep work materials stored there. Thieves cut through the fence and had time to cut 3 kryptonite locks and move two 50 pound bikes suspended 8 feet off the ground. No cameras no observation....... Next time I'd use long term airport parking. $15,000 lost

Bad customer service and unprofessional. I saw an employee mocking me behind my back to a co worker for simply asking how to open the front gate. The result was, I shut the unit down and took my business elsewhere. You can’t expect to receive 5 star services from minimum wage workers. But when they feel it’s ok to have bad behavior right in front of the customer, you wonder what they are doing when you aren’t looking. You entrust these people to watch over your property and I don’t trust them.

Site manager, Ray, was my contact and I found him knowledgeable, reliable and courteous. I look forward to working with him again. However, I feel that Cubesmart rates seem to be higher priced than other vehicle storage facilities. Most frequently, the company I tend to use is Extra Space where a month of storage is typically under $50 (plus the admin fee 20). I chose Cubesmart this time because I had used this site years ago and would return again given proximity to the Abq Airport.

The prices aren't too bad for the climate controlled storage units. I think it's a fair price. But you need to get a separate code to get into the climate controlled units which you receive when you arrive. Had no luck trying to get ahold of a worker here. And if you call, it goes straight to voicemail. So flagging anyone down is gonna be by chance and if you're lucky, you will catch someone. Also the code reader on the doors to get into climate controlled units are super touchy so you might have to try 50+ times!

This storage company advertises rates that are then raised every six months. I have rented a vehicle space as well as a larger unit here for two years. THERE ARE PEOPLE LIVING IN UNITS HERE and there have been problems with vehicle burglary. The goal of this business is to lure you in with discount services that appear to be more competitive than other providers in the area and then raise rates above what you could pay somewhere else. I asked if I could move into a smaller unit to save money because I could no longer afford the unit I had because rates had been raised so high and I was told I would not receive any promotional pricing and would pay above the cost a new customer would. The female manager is difficult and has the brain of a kipper.

So far, so good. Easy online reservation and contract agreement. Love the late (10pm) gate access. Haven't physically gone to the storage space because I got it yesterday, but if the trip through the gate and the condition of the unit is as smooth as everything else, the 5 stars will stay. Update: Everything's perfect. The grounds are clean. My storage was clean. (and the light works!) Instructions for the gate are easy. Locks were easy. Everything was easy... and I love that.

Climate controlled storage flooded at some point and damaged a fair portion of the stuff I had in the unit. Boxes were stuck to the ground with mold, cardboard was collapsed, the works. When I moved in, they made a big deal about the pest control traps in the hallway. When I went to get my stuff, the pest control traps were gone. Upon opening one of the molded boxes, I found a couple German cockroaches inside.

My storage unit was broken into. There was signage claiming 24 hour surveillance but they only showed us 5 second of the suspects leaving. When we inquired about footage from the other camera, they did not respond. We filed a claim and it has been difficult to get in touch with anyone from the claim office. We keep playing phone tag. Also, there are only 2 video cameras for that whole row of storage units, it is a chain-link fence that was easily cut with a saw, angle grinder, or bolt cutters. This is not the same type of fencing as those located near the office. They also did not require us to have a cylinder lock which they should have required because of the lack of security and surveillance in that area. We did have insurance but what we lost is priceless.

I observed the back gate being open on more than on occasion. My locker, which faced the back gate, was broken into by someone apparently pulling the door off the hinges. Several things were stolen. Management would not provide me the security video. They said I needed to file a police report, which they knew would be too much trouble. They moved my belongings to an interior locker. When I arrived to remove my possessions, there were mouse droppings all over the locker.

He was very helpful and even went with me to my new storage garage to show me how to manage the door/lock. When I went back for moving boxes Christian and another employee went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal and even delivered the boxes to my storage unit.

Closed during the hours they said they would be available for move in. Received four emails in advance of my move in date but never told about this. I arrived with a car full of stuff after an all day drive and was told by customer service and a sign on the door to come back the next morning. Was only given a partial refund (even though I never stepped foot inside their gates) when I had to scramble to find a new storage unit so my stuff didn’t have to stay in my car overnight.

This place is infested with mice. I wouldn't store anything here. Ruined some wiring and the carpets on my car. There's homeless people living in some of the units. They jack the rent up after a few months. By far the worst storage unit I've ever had. Edit: I I gave you my contact information when I moved out. My son and I have completed our planned sections of the continental divide and stored our motorcycles there. The two ladies at the front assisted us with the documentation and went way out of their way to ease our administration of the storage. Ever since my husband and I have gotten a storage here.We have wasted more gas going back and forth making payments because we go when its supposedly is open no one is there or they leave early.The parking sucks!! I don't care for the gate to be open when everyone that has a storage is supposed to put in their number to access their storage.I was informed that there has been a couple of break ins through the back entrance which makes us really reconsider having a storage there but for the mean time there is nothing we can do about any of these things.

I rented a storage unit here for eight months. I mostly worked with Grace who knew me by name even though I was only around during the beginning and end of that period of time. Her customer service was phenomenal. Also, I rented a Penske truck from CubeSmart to move my belongings into their storage unit. This made it very convenient to pickup the truck and drop it off at the same location as my storage unit.

I had the opportunity to meet a Ms. Blake Salas that was working the desk at the Cube Smart on Girard SE. She totally understood the situation I was facing and took me for a tour of the property which included seeing a couple available units, assuming that I might wanted to see a couple more storage facilities, I couldn't pass up the opportunity of having this young lady to assist me. Grace and Candice were amazingly helpful and very pleasant to work with. I had a few questions as to the proper size of storage I would need for myself, and all my answers were addressed. Also, their customer service is top notch. I highly recommend this particular location as it is centrally located in ABQ, and the staff is so great!!! Also, I love that there are security cameras and barbed wire to keep my stuff safe. And their insurance coverage is soooo affordable:)

This is by far the best place to get storage space! Getting a unit was easy! We got a great deal along with the special they were having. They even set up auto pay the same day so we never needed to worry about missing a payment. When my card details changed, they called to let me know that the payment didn't go through. They were kind and understanding that so many accounts of mine needed to be updated that my storage unit feel through the cracks. Some places make you feel terrible for this stuff, but Cubesmart was wonderful. Our stuff was safe for the year or so that we needed the unit. Discontinuing the lease was easy, and we were even offered a prorated month if we didn't finish vacating in time. The best part was access to renting their moving truck! It was by far the best deal on renting a truck ever. We used it so many times, and would have easily racked up 3 to 5 times as much in costs renting from anywhere else. I highly recommend this place. If I need to rent space again, I'll be going here, hands down.

My wife and I rented a 10' x 20' storage space to keep our MINI Cooper in for when we flew to NYC from Albuquerque to stay for 3 months. We do that twice a year. It ends up being much cheeper to have a CubeSmart storage space that can fit a car than it is to leave a car in long term parking at the Albuquerque Airport. CubeSmart had a location within walking distance of the Albuquerque Airport and airport hotels and that was perfect for us. We need to be able to hookup a trickle charger to keep the car battery maintained during long periods of inactivity. There was a light receptacle located on the ceiling of the storage space and the manager suggested I purchase a screw-in light fixture and outlet combination that could be used to plug the trickle charger into. I did that and it was the perfect solution. I would recommend CubeSmart to anyone that needs storage space. CubeSmart has many different sizes to choose from and the prices are very reasonable.
