not the least expensive in the area, but after experience with two other storage providers, realuzed the absolute importance of sanitary premises (clean floors, no bugs or critters, no dampness and mildew, no musky smells - ever), safe and secure premises (well-lit inside and out, required access code. multiple times, comfortable location-not somewhere deep inside former warehouse district), and service (good hours, accessible, pleasant, well-informed and helpful staff) were worth the extra money. you will get a solid intro rate but ask by what amount/percentage you can expect the rate to go up per year (yes, longevity is how they make their money). if you can live with that, then if you want an out of sight out of mind, but still safe feeling about your belongings, I can highly recommed our cubesmart facility off valley road/rte 3 btwn woodland park and clifton.

Thanks to the manager, Floyd, truck rental from CubeSmart was quick and easy. Everything about our experience here has been great and we will continue to use this location. Highly recommend. My 2 cents that you can skip: Beware of "bad reviews". Moving is frustrating at the best of times. A lot of grumpy people who leave low-star reviews for good places often blame their frustration on others, even (and especially) when it isn't the other's fault.

He told me we called you a few times, they called me during my work hours and never left a voice mail. I can't answer the phone it usually spams if I don't know the number, they didn’t leave a single voice mail. Mangers are so rude not willing to help at all, seems to they don't care at all. They can be nice at the first time, but most importantly how they treat you afterworlds.

I don't have any place to compare it to but I can say it is clean, has different size units to choose from, has secure storage, needs a code to access entry thru a gate, again to enter the bldg and again to get the elevator to move. The staff is always helpful and there are intercoms on the floors if you need them. A bit pricey but if you want security and reliability it's worth it.

Cubesmart is the cleanest and safest storage facility we have used. Clifton location is hands down of the best! The staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. We needed extra storage during our move at the last minute and the staff was able to accommodate the request on the spot. The manager Floyd is very resourceful. He was patient to explain all the details on the paperwork so we exactly know what we are signing for. When we were about to move out of 1 of our cube and we forgot the keys, he helped us in the tight situation. Highly recommend !

- The space. Rented 10x10 storage described as can fit up to 2 bedroom apartment. Its a lie. It barely fit 1 bedroom apartment. Filled up to the door. Check my pictures. - Code acess.. Have to go up and down in the elevator for 20 times and it ask you for the code all the time. Annoying. - Entrence not leveled. The garage door is not leveled with the outside - you ll have 2 steps to lift up full cart - whoever designed this ????? - No restroom if the office is closed. I was unloading there for 3 hours and there is no restroom available.

Good, conveniently-located storage facility near Montclair State University. The place is secure and clean; they just put down new carpeting throughout. It is a large building, climate controlled. We live in Manhattan. NYC, where storage prices are astronomical. So I rented with Cubesmart in Clifton, NJ - about a 20 minute drive if you can travel at off-peak hours including midday. The facility is super cool, clean, and well-run. Staff is courteous. It's a very big multi-story building, and they have everything (trolleys, dollies etc) and huge spacious elevators. If you like a kind of minimalist industrial vibe, you might really dig this place. I confess I've been tempted to go out there just to hang out LOL!

A cubesmart is currently being built down the street from me. I'm woken up every EVERYDAY with their constant pounding starting at 6:30 am!!! INCLUDING SATURDAY! HOW RUDE! DURING THE WEEK YOU SHOULD AT LEAST WAIT TILL 8 AM AND ON SATURDAY YOU SHOULD WAY TIL AT LEAST 10 AM. SO OBNOXIOUS. YOU HAVE A LARGE NUMBER OF HOUSES RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE YOU ARE BUILDING. MANY WITH BABYS AND CHILDREN. HAVE SOME RESPECT.

Only gave it one star because the service was not what I was expecting. They charged me even though I did not use it. I called before the 24 hours and they did not respond and waited and advise since its past the 24 hours they could not refund me... That is ridiculous. I advise if you need storage go to an honest storage place.

Wish I could give them six stars! Really fabulous service. The managers, Peter Kocoski, Dennis Marrero, and Floyd were polite, helpful, and thoughtful. The storage facility is immaculate. It was very easy to move our belongings into the storage room. We met several other customers who had nothing but praise for this facility.

I had an excellent experience yesterday at Cube Smart! I was promptly greeted, had everything clearly explained to me, and started loading my storage unit within 30 minutes! Given the stress associated with moving, it was a pleasure to have everything go so smoothly! I'm very grateful! The facility is also very clean - another bonus!

This storage facility is a diamon out of the coals that are out there. Denise and Peter always help no matter what the issue. The coffee is great and they will actually give you water when its hot or you need it. They treat you like family and in this impersonal world of tweets and facebook they are the best storage facility in the Northern New Jersey area

Storage is usually such a headache because moving is terrible. But I can honestly say that the guys at Cubesmart really make things super easy and actually enjoyable. They gave me a tour of the location and gave me all the information I needed. They are super informative and help me plan all aspects of my move! Although I hate to move I know I'm always coming here if I have do so again! I love cubesmart!

I was so impressed with how friendly the staff was! ! Upon arriving I was informed of the free truck, and took full advantage of the offer. It saved me Hundreds of dollars!! Great location right off the highway at the merge of Rt46 and Rt3. I was greeted by Floyd the General manager, the place was clean and the prices are competitive. Great customer service they helped me load my boxes into my car and offered me a bottle of water. I highly recommend Cubesmart in Clifton.

So far.... we have no complaints "the boys" were very courteous gave us a little bottle of water direct us in the right way. The place looked nice and clean a lot of light I hope that as the time goes by we continue to be satisfied with the place. We couldn't make use of their truck as they were not available so we had to rent one but it was OK prices ....could have been better for seniors....wishful thinking. Thanks!!

It was good. I used their truck service to move some items and rented a 5 x 10 area. Price is competitive to other locations nearby. Tips: Bring your own lock when you book otherwise you have to purchase one there and it's pricey. Staff was professional and fast. Place is clean and well kept.

I went into Cubesmart about a month ago to get some quotes and to view the storage space. I spoke to a young man( Dennis) who was extremely helpful and very polite in explaining all the details. I told him I was getting quotes from different storage facilities and I would get back to him. He then asked for my number so if something comes up he will give me a call. About a week later, I get a call from him telling g me that they have a special going on and if I was interested. Needless to say I liked the offer and the way he went above and beyond to assist me. Dennis has great customer service skills and the staff also was very helpful...

The place is easy access from route 46 or from Valley Road. The service person was awesome, explained every single detailed. Had answers for all of our questions, very respectable. He showed us the storage cube that we needed according to what we explained to him. As a person that used other storage facilities in the past I will recommend this location to anyone who needs storage.

My overall experience at Cube-Smart was fantastic. As soon as I walked into the door I felt welcomed and all the employees where helpful in tending to my needs. Dennis, Peter and Floyd were very professional, I was so nervous since this was my first time using storage but they eased my mind right away. I was amazed by the cleanliness and professionalism.
