Crystal from Jacksonville, FL Cubesmart was training at the Savannah Hwy store in Charleston, SC. She explained to me about their late policy and reduced my monthly storage fee. She went above and beyond the call of duty and even followed up with me about the reduction when she got back to her Jacksonville, FL Cubesmart. I'm impressed. This is excellent customer service. Five stars would have happened, but I can't get them to change my password & they lock the bathroom doors after hours. Your girl has to pee when she had to pee. Ijs. It takes two passcodes to get TO the bathroom and another one to get back.. why are they locked? The rest is great tho. Nice place. Relaxing tunes. Friendly people. Recommend.

Dont rent an outside unit unless you are ok with spiders and ants all over everything. Most of the outside handles are COVERED in spider webs so people can’t even open their unit. Even the walkways to the units have hug webs at the entrance so you have to duck. They are always washing the main building so it looks nice but I’ve never seen them rinse or so any maintenance/upkeep at all on the drive up outdoor units. I will take pictures on my next visit and post!

This place is simply horrific. I rented a storage unit for 2 months and when I returned to pick up my stuff, it had been completely destroyed by rats. Everything was peed on, chewed and rat drops everywhere. Worst part is, will not cover a single damaged item. See pics for yourselves.

I've enjoyed Cubesmart on Beach Blvd up until NOW. I've attempted to make my payment earlier in the week to avoid a late fee but my account wouldn't allow me to do so. The manager say's she's not sure why my account was frozen (sure). I contacted customer service to unlock my account but still accrued a late fee by Cubesmart at Beach Blvd after Customer Services said they could remove it. I've been with them for several years and they couldn't remove a first time late charge. Then she happen to be snappy and rude about it after all of the money I've poured into this company. Ludicrous.

Megan and Manny are very nice very accommodating very helpful! Facility is very clean and I have personally seen Megan vacuuming picking up making sure that everything is presentable. Love that they offer use of a moving truck although it doesn't have the ramp so you have to make sure that you are physically able to lift the things into the truck. The truck says free rental but there is a $10 charge so it really is not free. I would definitely use this facility again.

Our move-in was flawless and the management did help us out as we had movers loading 2 large storage units up to the 4th floor. The storage time itself was uneventful (which was a great thing), we checked back in from time to time to see that the place was clean, well maintained, and kept at a constant temperature. The 6 month evaluation of market rates did upset us a bit (most storage facilities are at the 1 year mark and have a lower % increase), but that's CubeSmart's thing, not this individual branch and the manager spoke to us regarding it when we raised the issue. Their shining moment was on our move-out. We've never had a storage facility go above and beyond like they did.. especially not on move out. You're leaving them taking away revenue, why would they cater to you.. well they did. If you have issues, need info, or a little extra help with things in the facility, speak to them. They're more than willing to listen and remained professional throughout our stay.

This is the cleanest and best run storage facility I have ever used; and I have used many of them in multiple states over the years. The General Manager at the front desk has not developed customer service, or an accurate way to reserve storage units correctly. PLEASE check your reservations. I would hate for you to show up with a household of furniture to realize she reserved the wrong storage unit, because she will only push you to the side or try to up sell. The storage facility is amazing, but ran by poor management.

The manager that Saturday morning was awesome. She made coming in and signing the agreement very simple and pain-free. You should definitely note that they will charge you $12 a month for insurance. That covers up to $2000 in damages. Definitely a racket.

I reserved a unit at the CubeSmart on Beach Blvd online and it was very easy! They did Follow up with a phone call the next day but I had some trouble with the call!! When I followed up with an email explaining my situation, they replied immediately telling me I was confirmed!!! They are super helpful and the lady that helped me there is super nice!! On Monday afternoon needed a storage space. I decided to stop into the CubeSmart on Beach Blvd and walked in and met a young lady by the name of Nakeisha who was busy at the moment with another customer. She explained everything to me about the rental process because it was my first time renting. She showed me 3 different unit with the up most patience and was very nice through the process. She helped me decide on a 10 x10 for storing my furniture. She even showed me how to access the property to get to my space. The property was clean and the office was clean as well. CubeSmart on Beach Blvd is a great storage facility. The physical structure is secure, clean, well-lit and easily accessible. The staff are very friendly and courteous, especially the General Manager, Kenny Johnson. She went out of her way to ensure the unit we selected was appropriate for our needs. We utilized their small, basic-but-functional cargo van which saved us from renting one at U-Haul. The only ding would be that they don't have the opportunity to pick up their phonelines in a timely fashion, but they are worth the drive to secure a unit. You will be pleased with your selection of this facility to store your goods!

Very unprofessional in general. There was some sort of leak in my unit, possibly from the ac, which created mold on some of my items. When I mentioned it to the staff, Marcus was helpful, but told me some misinformation about the insurance procedures. Sheltalee was very nonchalant about it. When I asked to switch units because of the mold on my items, he tried to give me a 4 by 5 for the same price as my 5 by 5 unit. So, I decided to move my items to a different storage facility.

Great place for indoor, climate controlled storage. Sheltalee checked me in and she was so fast and efficient, which made the process really fast. The security that is in place is incredible and I feel really good about storing my documents there. I highly recommend CubeSmart. Also, as information for anyone looking in that area... Finding the Cube online was good, making a reservation was simple enough. Recieved a confirmation email and phone call in short period of time. We did have and issue with the difference in environment controlled and climate controlled. I needed a unit with humidity and temperature control atmosphere for storing electronics, TV, Sterio...etc We fixed that and got a unit inside the main Cube. My son and I have used The Cube in Mandarin several times (4) over 7 years. The Cube on Beach Blvd is much warmer than the other by at least 4 or 5 degrees. That not too bad as long as the humidity is low. And there was a strong smell of oil. I address it to the staff, they answer my questions and also stated they would check the systems to ensure something had not broken. After all the equipment in Constance use and things do break. I have a confident feeling the Staff knew there facility and maintenance cycle of equipment. It was good feel to have a Staff that was knowable and took action on the concerns that were brought to there attention. Keep up the good staff and work.

We really needed a storage unit with specific features; climate control, security, space options, security, variable hours, security. CubeSmart provides us with all that and more! Stephanie, the store manager is knowledgeable, friendly, and a great willingness to help. Moving is so stressful, and I don't know too many who like to do it, but Stephanie was really there for us! This location is perfect, the storage units have great security from the time you walk in until you close your unit door and lock it up. Heavy doors, coded entry, CC T.V., ... Cube Smart and Mr. Torres at this store was super helpful and was attentive to my needs. If you need a great place to store your stuff or vehicle this is the place to go.
