Cubesmart made my reservation very easy and the staff were friendly and wonderful. The last time I needed a storage unit I went to Public Storage on Euclid, and I despised it there because the manager was beyond rude and phony and unhelpful, so I am happy to report that Cubesmart has proven to be far above that experience by comparison.

The manager at the ontario complex was super nice and helpful. Someone tried to break in to my storage unit and when I reported it she offered me to move to another one with better lighting. After I moved I saw that they fixed the lighting in the old area. No other issues after this. Will consider them in the future in case I need it.

When I came to make the rental unit official the process took less than 5 minutes. Tammy was very nice, helpful and informative. Kenneth also helped with some questions I had. Overall it was a quick process, they also informed me about their app, super convenient for me. The units are gated, you can use the pin pad or app to open the main gate. I would never recommend this storage to anyone there always getting broken in to and the insurance company will not pay you back the things they stolen from you. Also the people in the office don't help you in nothing. They also stold my information and my kids birth certificate, the state send me a letter stayding that there identity was being used and they gave me the exact dates they we're being used and it was the exact date's when my kids information was stolen from the storage unit. I really believe that it's the people that work there.

Rented a unit for about 2 years. Tammy and James were very helpful and courteous. The 5x10 unit is spacious, seems a bit bigger then that, but it was perfect. It also had a timer for the unit lights. One downside, the rats are able to travel between units, so don't store food, cardboard, soft plastics. Highly recommend this location :)

My first and last experience with cube smart storage. From day one I reserved a unit online for $176.00, was charged $186.00 when I signed the paperwork. "Tammy asked me if I wanted to the 35% deal and I said yes but she didn't apply the discount. Then the final straw was I lost track of time ,didn't realize it was after 10pm, she Tammy" comes full speed in her pj's yelling and screaming, cursing at us. Threatening it's going to cost us $50.00 to leave. Kept asking us how are you going to leave?He went in to her office started typing on the computer, i knocked several times before she finally replied.A professional manager or employee would of asked what happened,you know it's after 10pm you need to leave. Tammy is very rude, the storage unitsare high priced for what you get. I hope my review will help someone from making the same mistake I made.

I talked to several storage facilities in the area and was surprised at the lack of customer service but Tammy and crew are awesome! They keep the yards very clean and have been very helpful at every juncture. I had a more complicated situation with 2 containers being delivered and she helped me find a great option in one of their 3 yards. So update on the insurance claim for my stolen items. I've been waiting for someone to reach out and compensate me for my belongs. But when I went to make the police report just so happened earlier that day another tenant had been in to report the same thing, which this unit has been broken in to 3 times that month. Plus, another 10 units reported the same issue since the beginning of this year. Odd when the locks have no sign of forced entry. So insurance policy specifically states there has to been signs of forced entry to be given anything, what's the point of paying the extra 12 dollars of insurance for? So to me the break ins and stolen items have to be an inside job. Not Weird sounding at all?.

I love this storage place. Except for the price. I pay way too much for a super small storage. Very clean all over the property. Everyone that works here is really helpful. I had an issue with the gate. I called the manager of this facility and he came down when he was already at home for the day. He fixed our issue with kinda a smile on his face. My pin number for gate had an issue and they fixed it for us ASAP. Lots of people that need to keep there belongings safe trust cube smart for that purpose. I feel my stuff is pretty much safe. We've had our storage over a year ½. I would really recommend this place to my people and family.

Came here because we needed somewhere locally to park our semi truck. Before calling here I called many other places and the service was not good at all. When I walked in both ladies were very nice and polite very inviting. Management is very rude and poor. They wouldn't allow my wife and disable child to use restroom on a 98 degree day. They ignored her when she was knocking at the door. When she finally got their attention they told her it was to bad and she and my disabled daughter could not use the restroom. Not acceptable and we moved our business elsewhere. Those 2 ladies should be fired. We will never ever refer this place or any Cubesmart to anyone.

I recommend this place. I initially reserved a rental at Public Storage due to that's the only one I knew of. I moved and had the movers to take my furniture there. When I arrived I was able to look at the storage space. Omg there 10 X 20 was upstairs and I had to use a lift that was to small for my belongings and the entrance door was small as well. I DARE NOT have the movers to work even harder than they have been. This was not what I was told by Public Storage call center rep. I was told I was guaranteed a lower storage. Of course none was available. I then remembered seeing CubeSmart storage while scrolling thru internet a few days ago. I contacted and the call center rep was friendly and understood my situation. It was easy to set up with contactless purchase. They had what I needed and they gave first month promotion. I arrived to the location and they had the storage already ready to store. Once I got there the movers decided to tell me I needed bigger storage. Ohhh boy.. The staff constantly checking the property talk about good timing. I asked her if they had a larger storage. She immediately found a larger storage unit. Talk about good customer service. Only for the movers to tell me I needed a larger unit than this. Ohhh boy again. The staff advised I could rent 2- 10X20's after checking my property load. She located 2 storage units and gave me the first month's rent using the promotion. It's not to pricey for the price of two. Let me tell you the truth about these con artist. The insurance that you are paying for is an illegal and bogus fee. If you rent or own a home you already have insurance and that also covers your storage unit. All you need to do is show them a proof of it. Instead this place wants to charge you for something that all along you have cover for it. I suggest you call your insurance for more information on this matter before giving a single dollar to these criminals. You figure with this whole pandemic situation and people losing jobs these folks would be a bit more honest with their clients but instead they rather look the other way and steal money from you. I hope this information helps a small part of your finances during this time when every dollar counts. Please share this with other tenants and be safe.

Tho the issue i had at this storage isnt directly with or towards the business I felt it should be spoken on because it took place on thier property. I recently helped a friend move some items to this storage and i was shocked to see that there was a man mid 60s id say hugging and kissing a young girl approx 15 or 16. When they seen that I witnessed the activity i was almost frozen in shock. Before i could even open my mouth the man let her go and she proceeded to look at me angry. I felt as if i messed things up for her. From that moment on they both kind of hurried along and got into a van. The van was labeled S & L PARTY SUPPLIES OR RENTALS . My point to this is to try and alert others as to the morals of this company and hopefully prevent anyone from doing business with this unlisted party rentals. The van is an older chevy astro van with red faded paint and logos on doors . I coukdnt find a number or listing online so this is the best i can do for now ........

I got their 10X10 unit for $102/mon all ground level (month to month pricing); hours are 6:00am-10:00pm for storage —after 10:00pm you will be ‘stuck/locked out’: I just read another comment where you will also be ‘stuck’ at around 1:00pm lol;

I have rented spaces from their locations in walnut and Ontario. One time it was for 3 months and this last time for about 6. I like how they treat me. I like that they withdraw money from my account so I don't have to deal with that. If I ever need another parking space or a place to store some of my business equipment, I will call them up again. Also, they don't make you feel bad about leaving. They just appreciate that the payment always went through. =0)

Cubesmart on 5th and Grove was a really nice storage. maria and Robert I believe the names were very kind and I never had any issues with the storage at all. The rates were fair and I was notified once when the lock was not put on the storage correctly. I visited the Ontario location today and I was not disappointed. After going to several other storage facilities, I was about to give up. I thought I'd have to get rid of or sell all of my stuff with the prices I was bring given. I came to this storage facility based off the reviews , BUT BEWARE !! I had my belongings here for close to two years. I went to move everything out to find all my stuff filled with termites , rodents & Water damage to my belongings. Such a sad thanksgiving weekend. I lost everything & when I brought it to the on site managers attention all she did was give me the insurance pamphlet but had nothing more to say. Because she didn’t know anything about the insurance but made sure to tell me she doesn’t know what it covers.No concern what so ever. And the insurance I paid for doesn’t cover anything only partial water damage.. I have reached out to get a paper trail of all my receipts for the two years I paid for and she would not give me it. She states she has to ask the District manager Tod Haynes for permission , which is wrong because as a customer I should be able to receive copy’s of my own receipts. When a customer chooses a storage it’s so that they know they have a safe place to hold they’re life belongings. This is not the place to do it especially for a long period of time. You WILL be very let down.

Once I arrived, the staff at this place (especially Adriana) went out of their way to accommodate our needs, and did so in a professional and friendly way. Lauralei Del Rio and Adriana Torres are so helpful and always willing to help in anyway they can. They have great customer service and always cheerful and nice. I couldn't ask for any better ladies to deal with. Always a pleasure.

Terrible customer service. Got here on a Sunday at literally 3pm with a uhaul and needed to know the unit number. The two girls working wouldn't not even be off their chairs to answer 1 questions. Spend your money somewhere else if possible.

Once I arrived I paid for what I needed to for. So I had a truck go in the storage facility with me and as we are looking for the storage I just purchased the manager comes out all crazy asking what are we doing here. Not knowing we have already paid. She was really rude and that was really unnecessary. Manager was not in the office while I finished my purchase but I had my number to go in the gate. So I don't know why she came out to question me in a rudly matter.

I've been renting here for a few years now and am getting ready to downsize a second time. They have a pretty good selection of units with decent prices, but be sure to inquire about downsizing or renting a unit early to ensure that the unit you need will be available.

I been very happy mainly by having very helpful friendly staff on the premises I've deal with Adriana Torres wich has been very helpful and friendly! The storage facility is Alway's very clean! In one occasion there was a couple in a tru c k wich seemed suspicious i called the office and Adriana came right away then called the other co worker & they both took care of the matter...i would recommend this place to anyone...thank you Cubesmart

Great experience! Robert and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we no longer had need for the space, but they were understanding and did a great job of work with us. I highly recommend and would consider them for future storage needs.
