I initially went to Silverlake location for an air-conditioned unit as I needed to store musical instruments. Although no AC units are available at that site, I was kindly referred to the next nearest location by the Silverlake manager who called the 6th Street manager, confirmed availability and set me up in the system for a unit. Upon arriving, I was promptly met by both Silverlake and 6th street managers who insured my processing and unit was ready for me. Great customer service!

My daughter just moved something’s in the stoarge. Customers service was great and quick to get the storage. There is an insurance fee and a lock fee. So far we have had no issues. The gentleman who works in the office is very nice keeps property clean and lives on site.

**Update/Note: "CubeSmart Owner" replied to this review a few weeks after posting it, saying they would like to "look into it" and asking me to reach out. Although I reached out and followed up numerous times, they have never responded, taken no action, or made attempts to rectify. I hope this has not been everyone's experience, and it further solidifies my understanding that this place does not value ethical practice or care about its customers, their property, or anyone's health and well-being. **Review: Rodents and Rudeness I rented a temperature-controlled storage unit at the CubeSmart 2545 S 6th Ave location on 12/6/23. I was using the unit to store work items, including a valuable venipuncture practice arm, so I also purchased SureSmart insurance. On 8/17/24, I went to pick up items for a class. During set up on 8/20/24, when I opened the venipuncture arm storage case, a repulsive stench smacked me. I saw tiny plastic debris but quickly shut the bag, trying not to vomit. After setting up, I took the case outside and looked closer. I found 2 dead mice inside. They chewed through the plastic covering, the bags, and the tubes, chewed pieces of the arm, contaminated the contents with feces and urine, and damaged the item beyond repair. I immediately contacted CubeSmart to report the issue. The onsite manager was kind, apologetic, and horrified and said he would have his manager call me. When I finally spoke with the district manager, Melanie Young, she was curt and dismissive. She informed me that she was not responsible and that I should submit a claim to the insurance company. Even though she said she would send the number after our call, after waiting 2 days, I had to contact her again to get it. Several days after submitting the claim, the insurance company informed me they did not cover rodent damage. As the district manager, I think Melanie was aware of this. I called her back to see what could be done. She said a few sorry, but her tone was condescending and anything but empathetic. She refused to take responsibility despite later indicating she had been aware of the rodent problem for three months. During this time, she failed to inform renters or take sufficient measures to address the infestation. As a result of the damage, I incurred significant financial losses, including the cost of replacing the arm, and the storage and insurance fees for an unsafe unit. This has profoundly impacted my business and could have seriously damaged my reputation. I am deeply disappointed with CubeSmart's handling of this situation. Their failure to provide a safe and secure storage environment and poor customer service have caused considerable stress. On August 28, 2024, I returned to the facility to terminate my contract. I brought the destroyed arm so the staff could see/smell it. The onsite manager was horrified and profusely apologetic. He brought gloves and offered to help empty the unit. We both were horrified to discover another dead mouse, droppings, and other pests. As a note, the unit where the infestation started is at the opposite end of the building from mine, with many units in between; I hope yours is not one of them. This serious public health issue could have disastrous consequences for anyone who comes into contact with the infested units and community. I urge others to be cautious. This isn't event the first issue I encountered, just the worst one. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

On my first visit to the location on June 22 to store my items, I noticed the AC was blowing warm air. Since I had items in my unit that needed to be temperature controlled, I went to the front office to notify them. When me and the staff member went to my unit, they relayed to me that there was someone smoking fentanyl in one of the nearby units and pointed out a crushed blue pill on the ground. He said we needed to quickly exit the unit because of the smell. I instantly felt unsafe and began plans to move out. Zero stars if I could.

I have been renting a storage unit for one week. I can not believe the problems the general manager creates by being so negative. She is snippy and rude. Does not tell the truth, or I should say her truth is different than mine.... She refuses to hear your side of the story, because she knows the trouble I'm having I guess. I lost my phone during the move and spent hours looking yesterday... To I finally found it and was happy as heck, which if anyone has lost their phone knows that feeling. Today as I waited for a old roommate to come get two boxes.... She will not allow me to wait. I have to wait out by the road ... Because it looks bad having the door open. I wish I would had rented somewhere else... Any now I will probably be kicked out for writting this review. Plus the bathroom don't work. I wonder what the employees do when they need to go?

I had an emergency need for climate-controlled storage space in Tucson, before flying back to Nashville. The CubeSmart staff took care of my need immediately and got me exactly what I needed. Rent increases kept going up constantly. No one at the local office would return my calls/vms, I had to contact Customer Service 800 twice. The local manager would not work with me in allowing me to keep the same rate even though I had not been late with the rent in 18 months (the time I had the unit). But CubeSmart's web site kept advertising rent twice as low as when I started with them.

When getting a unit they were great and responded quickly, but when you need to stop renting a unit you get lots of silence, death of a friend changed plans rather unexpectedly but no one at the units though it was two hours after the office was supposed to open, no answer after robot service on phone and email was ignored.

I needed to use the facility to store my families belongings. I had several units at multiple locations. I appreciated being able to use the truck for free. Later I was assisted by Mike who made my move in easy on Palo Verde, great personality. On 6th street, It had been one day lapse of time until I could physically move out the Cubesmart unit to my place, so I was charged for the month due to the billing cycle. What a relief! They took into consideration the time constraint and the couple days of transition and were able to refund my money so that I wasnt completely broke when I moved. I would like to thank the staff for treating me like they are more than a corporate company that does not have compassion for people. The way the people are treated comes first or there is no business. I will use Cubesmart because they are professional, clean, and organized. the people made me laugh and gave me a good feeling that they are FAIR!

I rented a unit and received an email saying it was ready for me to move in. I showed up at 10:30 with a 20 ft trailer full of stuff to unload, and your lock was still on the unit, so I couldn't get in. I went over to the office and no one was there. So I left. An hour later I called the office and told them what had happened and asked if I returned in another hour, would the lock be removed by then. I was told that it would. I returned 2 hours later to find that the lock was not removed, and again, no one was in the office. This wasn't lunch time.. it was around 2:15 pm. I waited as long as I could - about 45 minutes, but I had to go pick up my child. This was not ideal. The unit is over 30 minutes away from my home. So effectively I drove more than 2 hours that day and had absolutely nothing to show for it. I'm also very busy and this was the only day I could take off. So basically, I'd paid for the unit that wasn't doing me any good, as it remained empty and locked. And lastly, I use my trailer for work. So I had to go back home and unload everything I had packed back into my garage so that I could use it the next day. I'm very unhappy with the service so far and I will be looking to rent elsewhere if things aren't made right somehow. This is my first time ever complaining on a platform like this, but this whole situation has been that bad.

Great customer service and great prices, they have big storage rooms small storage rooms and storage rooms are just right you can even store your automobiles or any type of vehicle within the guidelines do not be afraid to ask, as far as I'm concerned this is the best place to store your stuff and they go way out of their way to help you find what you're looking for.

I originally went to a different location, they didn’t have the size I was looking for but quickly called around and found a location a mile further away. The prices are high, hard to get hold of on the phone. On July 22, 2020 I called and left a message; I never got a call back. When I went to move my stuff out the next day 7/23/20 I found black widow spider webs on each side of the door, everything was terribly dusty when it fact I was told when I signed up that they would be spraying monthly for roaches. It looked like no one had been in there since I signed up.

Initial impression, it looks very well kept and secure. Only complaint, we didn't know where to park, and had to go into the office to get our spot number, so wasn't entirely contact-less. Also, website was difficult to manage, had a hard time setting up account. But the storage looks great, and that's the most important thing.

Extremely flexible, nice, helpful, informative... You couldn't ask for more from anyone in the storage business. My stay here was temporary but only due to lack of need - I would absolutely return here should the need arise again.

The service here is phenomenal!! The GM lives onsite so you don't have to worry about security. All the workers here are very attentive to your needs, any questions you may have and respond very quickly to resolve any issues you may have found. I would highly recommend this storage facility. I have repeated business here now twice since it's such a great place.

very friendly guys, but very limited office hours on the weekends. I only had one issue: they didn't activate my gate code when I signed everything on Friday midday. It resulted in 3 day delay to deal with it on Monday morning. This significantly inconvenienced my moving helpers resulting in costing me extra money for them to stay in town until we were able to unload everything into the storage unit.

Convenience is always a factor with me. The place also has video surveillance. Which is, I suppose a deterrent to thieves. The place is well kept. The management is friendly and competent. There's places in town that are more economical. But.... Convenience is worth something to us.

Great facility with wide lanes throughout the storage area that will facilitate a Ford Crew Cab with a 16" Flatbed Trailer... Making the turns are no problem. The Manager, "CJ", went out of his way and was most helpful... and as he lives on premises, I feel the area is very secure.

I was pressured into moving out of my house sooner than expected by the idiots at Peoples Mortgage because escrow was going down, so I had to find a self storage, I called Cube Smart and they gave me a breakdown of what they had, they found me the unit I needed and within hours everything was loaded into storage, the manager Carlos Espinoza made it very easy and now my belongings are stored safely, as of this moment 21 days later the house has still not been sold because The mortgage company messed up the paperwork. But I now have peace of mind knowing my belongings are safe at Cubesmart.

Love the location, price and courtesy of the employees. They even give you a break on the first month's rent w/no contract. The gate works great for the late afternoon on Sat and Sun when you need to go get something or put something away. Was having trouble with my gate code, of course this happened after office hours called the 800 number, the woman was very professional and pleasant but even her temporary code didn't want to work. I saw Chris, the night assistant and flagged him down. He was very empathic and promptly looked into my account, after running in and out of the office numerous times he resolved my issue and never acted inconvenienced, was never rude and never lost his smile. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had!
