I paid full price moving in, no incentives! And moved out on Dec.13th, 6 days after billing cycle and cube smart is not returning any of my payment. So basically full price moving in and paying for an extra 3 weeks after moving out! Not really good business I will seek other storage from now on.

Very clean, Friendly and helpful staff! Easy to rent, pay for, takes about 15 for paperwork, everything was as simple as a quick phone call, easy online forms, then payment. Received access right away with lock and everything waiting in my unit. Super quick & easy! I've actually been using this location for going on a year now, when I first started there was a different manager compared to the one who's there now. I found the previous manager less than desirable, she was actually pretty rude and dealing with people and customers was not very acceptable and I was about to leave the facility and go somewhere else! Then I realize that the previous manager had been moved somewhere else, not completely sure why but it was a wise move for whoever made the decision to put her someplace else! The environment around the place as far as I'm concerned drastically changed overnight! The new manager is like a breath of fresh air in a very stale environment but it changed the whole vibe of the place completely! The current manager if that is actually his job title is a awesome down to earth no nonsense kind of guy named Marc and if it was not for him being in charge now I would have stopped using this location around 6 months ago but Marc has drastically changed my view of the facility so much that I am actually sad when I think about the day when I do not need a storage locker anymore! It's amazing how much of a difference a single person can make when it comes to the reputation of a facility! In this particular case that person's name is Marc and he is the only reason that I am still there and why I feel so motivated in giving this facility such recognition! I honestly think that if he ever leaves and I'm still there renting my storage space, it could be the very day that I move all my stuff out! I simply find it difficult to believe that anyone else could take his place and do such a fantastic job as he is doing right now!

The company needed to raise the rent $50.00 (35%) over a 14 month period. They started out at $95.00, went to $116.00 and now they expect $145.00. The unit was convenient but not totally necessary for my needs.

Received a call and was accused of stealing another tenants bike by the "General Manager". When I told this douche bag I didn't take it, his response was "are you sure?" and I'll be reviewing camera footage. (Surprised he didnt do this prior to calling and accusing me.) Needless to say, i never received a call from said douche bag confirming whether he did or didn't see me take the bike or an apology for accusing me. Also, they raise their rates pretty frequently to the point where they're nearly double the cost of local competitors. We only rented out of convenience because it was close to home. I would stay away from this place altogether.

Beware the intro rates. Rates will increase every 90 days. Had my rates increase over 60% in a 2 year period. Always have difficulty finding carts, automatic lighting would shut off while I was in my unit leaving me in the dark. The only positive is the facility was always clean.

Mark and Stephanie have gone above and beyond for me through this year long process! I began building a home in March '22 and placed all of my belongings in storage the following month to live with relatives during the build. It has taken MONTHS longer than anticipated and the move out of my unit didn't line up with my move in to my new home but they worked diligently to accommodate me and my sons to ensure a happy, smooth, fun move in to our dream home! The facilities have ALWAYS remained clean and easily accessible. I would recommend more carts but that is my only complaint. Everything else has been top notch from start to finish!!

Marc is an amazing General Manager. He is super friendly, energetic and accommodating. He took the time to explain all the details for renting, insurance, specials, etc. He provide me with a tour of the property and showed me the units available. He walked me through the online process for renting a unit and provided me with 4 brochures so I was well informed. The facility is extremely clean and well lit. It has various entry key pad points. They have great hours and everything you need for your move for purchase in the office. There is also a loading dock for large trucks and a cover canopy area for unloading during those hot summer months. Elevator to second floor and carts available to load and unload. Thanks Marc for a great experience.

I've spent hundreds of dollars a month renting a space at this CubeSmart for several years now. They have always had a restroom available to renters. I was there yesterday I used it, I saw another renter use it, and a delivery man. Today my wife and mother-in-law went to retrieve some items from our storage unit. While in the parking lot my 60-year-old mother-in-law tripped and fell due to their very uneven asphalt. I have tripped several times myself in that parking lot, It's dangerous. They went inside to see if she could clean some of the blood off her legs in the bathroom. The employee Chelsea, turned them away, she said "there are no public bathrooms" and offered a first aid kit with open and dirty items in it. Chelsea claims to be the store manager, I have never encountered an employee nor store manager at this business or any other business who could be so cruel and rude. I suggest if you want customer service or basic common decency, to avoid the company CubeSmart altogether. We will be taking my mother-in-law in for medical care and speaking with our lawyers. I will be sure to let all friends, family, colleagues and followers know to avoid CubeSmart in the future and I will be sharing this review with corporate directly.

Recently vacated after many years. Found a unit for $100 less per month. CS continued to raise rent above market at a facility with no gated entrance, only 4 carts (often none available to use), in a run down, sketchy shopping center with homeless people, poor lighting (would never let my wife go there alone at night), bathrooms are closed on weekends, and get this... walked up to the office during business hours, glass doors were locked and watched as the "manager" hid under the desk so we wouldn't see him (we saw him, knocked on the glass, watched as his chair moved). Seriously, go elsewhere.

This is a big facility with numerous doors and 4 carts for the whole place. There were many times I had to carry my stuff with no cart or walk around to the other side of the building to find one. The last time I asked about the carts the lady was rude. I moved to a better facility.

This particular facility is in a former shopping center. The building and lot don’t have a lot of overhead and upkeep. This particular facility also cuts costs by not having a staff member on Sundays (“summer hours”). Yet for some reason CubeSmart found it necessary to raise the rate twice in a year, and actually effective within 7 months of each other. It was handy to have the 5x5, but not at these prices. We will deal with our stuff and save the $$$.

The storage facility has decided for the last couple years to up their rate every three months. The rate you start paying for will NOT be what you pay a year from then. My current 10x10 unit is over $300. It started at $180. I've been here a couple years. They'll advertise a much lower rate for new signups but don't be fooled like I was. This is a rate-jacking storage provider.

Alex Baltierrez was very professional. He always remembered me when I saw him and made small talk. The other employees were friendly as well. I like the fact that it was air-conditioned and I had access when I needed to get in there to get things etc. I did have one issue where I had a trailer in the side storage area next to the building that got broken into by a vandal. There was no valuables inside but there was damage to my lock latch that had to be repaired. I ended up moving it off premise shortly after that.

Facility is clean and cool; loading trolleys available to use, elevators make access to 2nd floor units very easy. GM Alex Baltierrez helped us from start to finish and made the process quick and simple. Not only did we receive the 25% off for reserving online, once we completed the paperwork, Alex offered the CubeSmart 16' moving van to us for an additional hour plus extra allowable mileage (we were moving from a good distance away) for a nominal fee. This saved us $$ & heartache! Couldn't be happier; Alex was a dream to work with!

I have three storage rooms with CubeSmart and each time went for another storage the customer service was consistent and great throughout each of the stores that I visited and Gilbert and in San Tan Valley. I highly recommend CubeSmart the employees tell you how to get a lower price on your storage and if you using the right size storage for what you need so you're not overpaying I really appreciate it that it's a great organization and that is a hats off to the upper management

Editing my review from 10+ months ago where I gave them 5 stars, but I want to thank Sandy for going above and beyond with her customer service. We were moving storage units to a place closer to our home, and while my husband ran home to unload and come back to pick up the second load, Sandy waited with me for 15+ minutes after her shift ended so I would not have to wait alone. I was very thankful as I felt a little nervous about waiting alone (safety in numbers!). I would have never asked that of her, but she didn't hesitate to offer and I think that speaks volumes- No matter who I deal with at this location they are always so helpful and go the extra mile. Even though I am no longer a customer, I will always recommend CubeSmart!

I was in need of a rental storage facility that was close to my home. This location is within a mile so it's convenient. It's a nice indoor facility with easy access to the elevator. The service was quick, I was shown available units for the sizes I was interested in using. The process was quick to actually do the necessary work to lease the unit. I would highly recommend this location of CubeSmart.

Air conditioned units make storage comfortable. Accessible location. Secure, as well. Decent prices for decent size storage units, at first. They did raise price by about $13 after a few months for no reason. First month discounted. Have to purchase their key and lock because normal locks dont fit.

Fantastic place to store whatever items you need stored. Each storage unit has enough space to store about 2 bedrooms worth of furniture. There are air conditioned units that are nice especially in the Arizona heat.

Moving is terrible anyway but this made it worse.....arrived and there were two others in front of me so the wait was over two hourS wait time before I actually lefyt.....ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE.....he took us all three to each others units to show us it and make sure we wanted it...this totally mixed us up as to direction....the place needs direction signs all over.....Once I was finally helped he stated the 10x10 was only 1/2 off instead of the advertised price of first month free....I went nuts and he finally gave me the first month free...not to mention there are signs outside and inside stating the first month is free......so the quote I received was different than what it was in the end.....(same thing happened to the people in front of me)GEEZ just give us the full amount.......if we have to have the insurance then you cannot quote it without it ......and now to the administrative fee......I had to pay $24 at signing and asked him if that was a one time deal and he said yes......NOT, the insurance is cheap but they tack on another $10.25 for the CubeSmart Administrative fee each month ....I am very disappointed with my decision to rent from them and will not ever refer any of my friends to this place.....

The customer service representative Alex, delivers world class service to all customers. When I arrived at the storage facility I overheard how attentive and helpful he was towards an elderly couple and the gentleman was tired and Alex brought a chair over for him to sit on! Wow! Empathy, courteous, knowledge all in one! My experience was excellent and he showed me how work the keypad and where I could find a cart, he even personally cleaned and sweep my unit before he left. If you looking for exceptional service go to CubeSmart and ask for Alex, he is your guy!

Check in was smooth. Easy and nice. The unit is near the door and the price is right. I liked the front office staff and the overall experience. My only issue was I submitted a request to the gilbert cubesmart and had a callback within the hour. The recommended I look into the ray road cubesmart, so I submitted an online request and still have not heard back. So I would conclude best advice to new shoppers is to just call, maybe leave a message.

I needed 2 storage units while my home was being renovated. I had booked storage units elsewhere but ran into problems on the day of the move. Luckily, my son found CubeSmart. The place was clean and climate controlled. The manager, Stephanie, was helpful and friendly and found the right size units close to the door. It was nice to end the day smoothly thanks to CubeSmart!

We went tho the facility on Gilbert and spoke with Brinn. She was great! She showed us a unit but we decided it was too big. Do she looked up the prices and availability for the facility at Ray and Cooper. We went there and saw Stephanie. Again she was great there was no hard sell, no trying to get us into a bigger unit. Great service, and assistance with moving in and using their facility. Very helpful and insightful with what my wife & I needed, including various options to choose from and how to go about getting our items in our unit with a relatively low cost in mind. Clean facility, and in Arizona... for anything you're thinking might get damaged in the heat (or in your garage), storing items here is a must. Overall, a nice experience.

This location is bit hidden & unknown but it's awesome. The manager & staff are friendly & remembered who I am when I returned. It was difficult to fine a climate controlled storage near me but I am so glad I found here. The facility looks clean & well maintain. That's a HUGE plus for me. Plus, they let you borrow the moving truck 4 hours for free. WOW!!! I've never heard of such. All I can say is Thank you for helping me make my move bit easier.

Excellent, clean facility; brand-new and very nice. The truck was easy to borrow, and the management were very professional and easy to work with. Just make sure you bring a homeowner's insurance declaration unless you want to pay for their monthly insurance. And $100 cash as a deposit on the truck (it will be refunded upon return of the truck). I didn't think it was a big deal to purchase the cylinder lock from them ($11). It is a safer type of lock, anyway.
